Miami Heat basketball players, welcome to New Orleans! Here’s a guide to celebrating
your 28 game win streak in the Big Easy!
Getting off the airplane in New Orleans is pretty sweet. We have amazing brass bands set up to welcome important people to the city. You’ll cruise through Louis Armstrong International with the sweet sounds of live jazz filling your eardrums,
just like the sweet sounds of victory, of which you’ve experienced 28 times in a row now, wow!
The hospitality industry is huge here. Our nice hotels are crazy nice! You’ll be greeted by a welcoming staff who
are undoubtedly impressed by your impressive win streak and will be happy to suggest things to do while in the Crescent City.
How about taking in some of the sights? Get on a horse and carriage and relax while hearing about the history of the French Quarter.
Your run at one of the most impressive records in professional sports is quite historic as well. Want to exercise while experiencing our fine city? Take a run along the Mississippi River or hit up Audubon Park or peruse City Park or just sit in your hotel room focusing on the game Friday night because you have a real opportunity to break this 41 year old record.
When you’re hungry you’ve got to check out some of our old school fine dining restaurants. They’ll likely treat you well because you’re
the talk of professional sports these days really tall. When the check comes be clever and leave a 28% 15% tip. At least.
After the game against our currently less than average basketball team
where you will extend your streak to 29 you’ll want to celebrate some more, probably. There’s a casino. There’s nightclubs. There’s gentlemen clubs (looking at you, Chris Bosh) you’ll likely be getting on a plane for San Antonio, where you’ll seek #30.
We hope you enjoy your time in New Orleans.
