The NBA released their schedule last week and if you’re like me, you poured through every team’s schedule while stroking your beard making predictions. Then you took a step back and realized that this could be improved upon. Then you remembered that you have access to the world wide web as well as a computer and you can put those thoughts on a web page for people to read.
Then you wrote this:
NBA Schedule Requests
Here are some very simple schedule requests that I believe will make the NBA schedule a lot more interesting.
NBA SCHEDULE SELECTION SHOW
While it doesn’t have the same allure of the NFL schedule release, the NBA schedule is still important. I want to see a web cam live feed of every team sitting in a cafeteria watching their schedule unfold on TV screens in front of them. It’ll be like the Bowl Selection Show but much, much longer and also not college football.
EVERY TEAM PLAYS ON CHRISTMAS OR ONE TEAM PLAYS A CHRISTMAS BACK-TO-BACK
The NBA owns Christmas day. Where I come from, if you have a good thing you don’t ask questions, you just do that good thing even more. If one burger patty is good, two is better. Hence, let’s get EVERY team on the court for the holiday. That means a LOT more “Happy Holidays” videos from your favorite NBA stars. Either that or let’s have the Lakers play the Clippers at 9:00am and then the Raptors at 9:00pm.
The NFL has Thanksgiving so why not go all out and take the entire day like they do? Hey wait a minute
SCHEDULE THE EQUIVALENT NBA TEAMS TO THANKSGIVING DAY NFL TEAMS
What better way to deliver a cool slam dunk in the face of those touchdown craving nerds than to schedule high stakes basketball matchups at the same time as the NFL ones. I’m talking Bulls at Pistons followed by Sixers at Mavericks capped off by Thunder at Warriors but the Thunder have to wear Sonics colors. Take that, pigskin.
